The audio recording of Brenda Wong Aoki was very much entertaining. It kept my attention throughout the entire recording. By using different voices for each character, it was not hard to distinguish one character from another. The picture was very much painted when listening to the recording and trying to visualize the characters. When listening to characters like Kali, it is very easy to picture what he would look like just from the voice and accent used by Brenda Aoki. Also, with the use of background noises and music, Aoki was really able to show how a characters personality was or the area around the characters very well. This use seemed to be what really separated the recording from the script. When reading the script the community and the characters could be visualized in multiple different ways, but with the recording it was almost like I was standing right there with the characters. Brenda Wong Aoki did a fantastic job with the recording. Because she is the playwright, she knows exactly how each characters should act and sound. She knew exactly how she wanted the audience to see her characters, and because of this she really knocked the portrayal of each character out of the park.
